Hours and Seasons of Operation

The Visitor Center, located two miles south of Weott on the Avenue of the Giants, is open during the summer from 9 am until 5 pm daily.
Winter hours are Thursday through Sunday - 10am until 4pm.

Park headquarters is generally open weekdays from 8 am until 1 pm.

The primary visitation season at Humboldt Redwoods State Park is the summer, however there are reasons to visit in any season.
Winter rains (up to 65 inches a year) keep visitation low. In the spring, wildflowers are an especially beautiful attraction. The colorful leaf displays make fall a nice time to visit as well.

Information is available at the Visitor Center, Park Headquarters, or the campground entrance stations. (The entrance stations are staffed during the summer season only.)
