Note: The Bull Creek Road and the lower section of Preacher Gulch Road sustained extensive damage in winter storms in early 1997. These roads will not be re-opened.

The Visitor Center is located two miles south of Weott, or four miles north of Myers Flat, on the Avenue of the Giants. The Mattole Road is reached by driving four miles north of the Visitor Center and turning left (west). The sign reads: Rockefeller Forest/Honeydew. Or, you may take the Founders Grove exit on northbound Highway 101. From southbound Highway 101, take the Rockefeller Forest/Honeydew exit and turn right.
